Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!

I wanted to put up this picture and post from our Thanksgiving week.  This is our door frame outlined with the many blessings that we give thanks for this year.  Each leaf and hand (not in view) is a spoken, written and acknowledged blessing.  It was Trish's idea to make a visual cue to be thankful and grateful for our blessings.

In addition to these colorful patterns, there are many more short notes written on notebook pages, or spoken during the week.  Some blessings were shared during dinner, others during a devotional that Trish would share just before dinner.

We have a lot to be thankful for, everything from Apple Products (iPad, iPhones, etc.) to the visits to the zoo with Stemmies.  Our leaves include thanks for Starbucks, Chick-Fil-A, friends, family, food, our spouse, our parents, our home, and more.

God truly has blessed us to enjoy every good thing, and His many countless blessings of grace.  This year, we celebrated the start of a new family tradition, explicitly being thankful, giving gratitude to God, focusing on Christ, and being with family.
We even finished up with a great dinner prepared by Trish.

Happy Thanksgiving!  May God give you His grace and goodness, along with a heart of gratitude whereby we might appreciate Him more and forever more.

With love (& in triumph),
Cassius
