I mourn for you my sister who got swept away and tossed in the tide of unsuspecting current.
I mourn for you my friend... the water broke fast over you and time ceased...
I mourn for you and grieve with your family, shedding tears and sobs because life was shorter than we expected and this... this was not the end we ever imagined.
I mourn for all those whose lives, properties, friends, family, homes, jobs, and world as they knew it was washed away in the recent floods. I mourn for you and I pray...
Almighty God in moans and sobs to deep for words send your hand to comfort
send your spirit to strengthen and encourage
send your peace to make things whole, right, and anew.
Almighty God we sit nearly speechless in the face of such destruction, loss and hurt
but in You we trust and have this confidence - You are my Lord and You are in control
