Yes, I am...

This morning's radio devotional pointed out the fact that many believers and for that matter unbelievers spend their lives living halfhearted and well below what God intends for their life.  Why?  Many live this way because they never tell themselves the truth, they never encourage themselves with the truth, and they never speak the truth over their lives.  What truth?  The truth of who you are in Christ, who you were created to be, and what you are and are becoming because of Christ?  Guilty?  Yes, me too!  Yes, I was guilty of living my life imprisoned by the poor choice of words I've used in the past.  I was guilty of living less, halfhearted and within the consequences of poor word choice.  Today, I bust that up and I move forward reminding myself of the truth of who I am in Christ.

In Christ (the I AM), I am

  • beloved (mark 1:11)
  • victorious (1 Cor 15:57)
  • bought by the blood of Christ (1 Cor 6:20)
